The EMGN awards & medals programme recognises eminent materials scientists for their outstanding research contributions to the field of materials science. They are recognised as role models for the upcoming generation of materials scientists. Recipients of EMGN medals and awards will be nominated as EMGN ambassadors. In this capacity, they are tasked with representing EMGN at events organised by other organisations, as well as delivering speeches and presentations designated as EMGN contributions. Awards & medals nominations for the year 2024 are currently open. The deadline for submissions is 31 December 2024.
